Dinosaur PC System Requirements

Before you wishlist-binge fifteen maps full of dinosaurs, confirm your PC can run Dinosaur by Dinosaur Master on Steam app 3294300 (planned release August 13, 2026). These specs come from the Steam store listing. The game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. In-game language is English only.

Minimum is the floor for launching and learning Creative layouts. Dense Classic herds, split-screen, or Remote Play streaming may stutter on true minimum GPUs—plan settings conservatively.

Recommended is the comfort zone for larger islands, higher view distances, local co-op, and Remote Play Together hosting.

What these numbers mean for playstyles

Creative sandboxing. Minimum may suffice for small terraforming drills using the island planner and island editor lessons.

Classic ecosystems. Budget toward recommended when stocking many of the 40+ species (~80 variants) with active needs simulation—see Species Hub and ecosystem symbiosis.

FPS Survival. Prefer recommended GPU/CPU headroom so on-foot fights against careless carnivore stocking stay readable—FPS Survival, game modes.

Co-op hosting. Split-screen renders two views; Remote Play adds encode cost. Hosts should treat recommended as the real minimum for comfort.

Hardware will not invent symbiosis skill—but underspecced PCs make fair tests impossible. Match your ambition (fifteen-map tour, apex showcases, couch co-op) to the recommended column whenever you can.

If you sit between the two columns:

• Prefer solid 1080p over unstable higher resolutions while learning the editor.
• Cap crowded showcase herds until RAM hits 12 GB.
• Disable extra overlays during Remote Play hosts.
• Test split-screen on a small Creative map before a marathon Classic night.
• Keep drivers current approaching the August 13, 2026 launch window.
